
I'm Curt MacRae. Here is more about me...
Curt MacRae grew up in Michigan, graduated from Michigan State University, and worked for IBM, and then two IBM value-added-resellers, before starting his own equipment financing company in 1992. Midwest Leasing Group operated until 2008, when Curt closed it and began working with senior-level people that were seeking new employment opportunities. He developed GET TO WORKshops and taught jobs workshops for three years, becoming a sought-after speaker and well-attended workshop provider for the unemployed and under-employed who were trying to get back into the workplace. Curt still spends some off-hours helping that demographic.
On July 1, 2012, Curt opened a new equipment financing company, Curtis Funding Group, developed with the concept to keep overhead low and client rates competitive, while attracting an experienced, ethical, and professional team of “partners” that could be compensated at a higher rate than the competition. By keeping overhead to a minimum, it is possible to provide competitive rates to clients, higher-than-average compensation to a sales team, and the best support available, since executive-level team members provide better service and more knowledgeable counsel to clients. Curtis Funding Group will not hire trainees to support CFG clients – seasoned, professional, ethical executives are the rule and CFG expects to grow with that model.
